CHML/Y108 Christmas Tree of Hope Campaign Details

The annual CHML/Y108 “CHRISTMAS TREE OF HOPE” was founded in 1976 to bring hope to kids and families struggling through the holiday season.

The campaign now serves as the primary fundraising mechanism for the CHML/Y108 CHILDREN’S FUND. Official “CHRISTMAS TREE OF HOPE” trees are lit in Gore Park Hamilton, Aldershot, Waterdown and Burlington as symbols of our efforts during the Christmas season.

Other activities include our annual Christmas concert at Gore Park, our “Blitz Day Radiothon” on both AM900 CHML and Y108, our annual “TOY TRUCK” toy drive, and various other fundraising activities.

Operation Santa Claus

of Hamilton residents in need.

In 2010, the CHML/Y108 Children’s Fund
has taken over stewardship and will

Ron Foxcroft - Honourary Chair of the CHML/Y108 Christmas Tree of Hope campaign

BLOW THE WHISTLE ON POVERTY THIS CHRISTMAS!

My history with the Christmas Tree of Hope takes me back to the very first year it was founded, the impact of this initiative has been enormous, because 100% of the money raised by so many generous people has a positive affect on the lives of so many recipients.

Kudos to all contributors and the volunteer Board for their monumental and tireless efforts on behalf of our aggressively generous community.

Being chosen to be Honourary Chair of the Christmas Tree of Hope makes me humbled and proud.
