May 18-24, join AM900 CHML and the City of Hamilton Public Works in recognition of National Public Works Week!

Over the course of the week there will be a handfull of great events for all residents of Hamilton, including a Bus Rodeo, Adopt-A-Road beautification projects, Public Works displays at all Hamilton-area Zellers and tons more!
This year, the Ronald McDonald House is the charity of choice for Public Works Week!  Members of the public can make a donation at any event during the week, or at the Public Works office (77 James St North in the Hamilton City Centre).  For a list of desired items, click here!

The Public Works Department provides a range of fundamental services that bring our City to life every day including: Water and Wastewater Treatment; Water Distribution; Wastewater Collection; Stormwater and Drainage; Solid Waste Collection and Disposal; Recycling; Organic's Collection and Processing; Street Access and Street Lighting; Traffic Control; Transit; Municipal Fleet; Transportation Planning; Road/Water/Sewer Infrastructure Asset Management and Planning; Environmental Approvals; the Road/Water/Sewer Construction Program; Red Hill Facilities; Park Design; Park's Operation and Maintenance; Cemeteries; Street Beautification; and Forestry including our Street Tree Planting Program.
