CHML presents Cyber Bullying – Is Your Kid a Target?, a one-hour documentary produced by Michelle Boden of the CORUS RADIO NETWORK, profiling recently publicized cases of cyber bullying and its effects on the victims and their families. This documentary has been split up into 4 parts for online listening.
Cyber bullying has become pervasive with the growth of the Internet, texting and cellphones as means of communication in youth culture. Cyber bullying reaches children at home, without parents’ knowledge, and can lead to social segregation, anxiety and even suicide. Corus Radio will explore the rise of e-mail, instant messaging, online chat rooms, bulletin boards, text messaging and social networking sites and the negative impact this online communication has on youth.
