Grab your cell phone and use your text messaging (SMS) feature on your phone.
Type the keyword CHML as a new text message.
Send the word CHML only to the text number 212223 ($0.50/msg)
We will text you back within a few seconds with a confirmation message.
How do opt out of text message services?
You will only receive text messages should you opt in and only from Corus Entertainment. Should you wish to opt out any text message services simply type and text the command CHML STOP to 212223. ($0.50/msg)
What is text messaging?
Texting is fun, fast, and easy to use! CHML's text alerts are meant to only provide you with Breaking News, Sports and Traffic information directly to your mobile phone.
How much does it cost when I text you?
You will only be charged a mobile network transit fee of $0.50 to join this service. You will not be charged a premium to receive text messages from us. Standard carrier rates apply for receipt of text messages. Please contact your service provider if you are unsure of your plan.
Can I text you from my mobile phone, BlackBerry or PDA device?
Yes. You can use any mobile device so long as you have a text messaging plan on one of the following Canadian mobile networks: Bell Mobility, Fido Mobile, Rogers Wireless, Solo Mobile, Koodo, TELUS Mobility & Virgin Mobile Canada. You must first text CHML to 212223 to gain access, then you can text any stories that you would like to report on to 212223.
