stadium location.  And the pressure is starting to mount.  There's a new group that has decided that the stadium should be at the West Harbour location.  Others are saying East Mountain.  Of the two I think the East Mountain make the most sense.  that having been said, I still think that it is just plain wrong that the Confederation Park site was blocked before being given any consideration.  It is still the logical choice to me and to many others who have even greater knowledge of sports and sports administration.   However, if Confederation Park is totally out of the question and it's down to vuvuzela?  It was kind of neat a month ago when the gear up to the games was underway and we were told by Global National Reporter Tara Nelson that is was "the item" to get at the Cup.  She admitted it was a bit annoying but it way new and it was everywhere.  Gotta have it.  In fact, she said the tough part was going to be getting it on the plane to come home.  Well, we've had nothing but vuvezela ever since.  However, I've been told there are some redeeming qualities to it.  In fact, I've been informed that there is a new album of love songs featuring the Vuvuzela.  Check it out racial slurs.  If nothing else it proves what a pig he really is.  And he has also shows his hubris in not learning anything from his last experience.  I've always said all the "isms" go together....Racism, Sexism, "Gayism" ( I know the last one isn't really a word but maybe it should be).  What I want to know is, have you have enough of him?  Does his behaviour change the way you see him as an actor, director, producer?  Will it mean that you won't slap down your hard earned money to go and see one of his movies? the ER at the St. Catharines General Hospital.  This loved one has Crohn's Disease and was vomiting uncontrollably, was dehydrated, had fever and chills and a dental abscess.  I called an ambulance and somehow between hour home and the ER he had been assessed at "tooth pain".  We waited hours to be seen.  It didn't surprise me at first because there were three heart attacks that came in and a crisis intervention.  However, when I saw that another patient was getting some debris washed out of his eye, I knew there was clearly a problem.  So, I went to the desk and said I didn't think my loved one was properly assessed.  When I pointed out that he was more seriously ill than having "tooth pain" they snapped into action....finally.  He had been on a at Mississauga's Transportation and Works Department there have been a few things that have really been bugging me about this.  One has been the treatment of the story by the wire service.  The initial stories said the abuse was a combination of spanking and duct taping.  That is bad enough but it really didn't give an accurate picture of what was going on.  The "spanking" involved workers' private parts and was inflicted to the point of bruising.  They were duct taped, at times together.  One man had his head shaved.  This is not horseplay.  I'm tire of this kind of sadistic abuse being downplayed.  Imagine what it must be like for the victims of this to hear it characterized in the media as being a minor incident.
