The annual CANUSA Games have wrapped up for another year.
The closing ceremony was held Sunday morning at Mohawk College.
Hundreds of young athletes representing Hamilton and Flint, Michigan competed in 15 different sports.
Overall, Hamilton came out on top, winning nine sports to Flint’s six.
But organizers say everyone was a winner in the 56th edition of North America’s largest and longest-running international games.
One event that didn’t count in the final standings was the inaugural Miracle Metric Mile between the two mayors.
It was won by Flint Mayor Dayne Walling in a time of 7-minutes, 22-seconds, compared to host Mayor Bob Bratina’s time of 7:54.
