The all-clear has been sounded for the municipal water supply in Freelton.
Hamilton’s Medical Officer of Health has lifted the boil water advisory that was issued on Friday.
Residents using the Freelton Municipal Water Supply had been advised to use an alternate supply of water or boil their water due to the detection of bacteria.
The City brought in a tanker-truck of water for area residents Friday and Saturday.
Subsequent tests determined that Freelton’s drinking water is free of bacteria and the boil water advisory was ended Saturday evening.
