What is in the water in Miami these days?
You have the NFL’s Dolphins sinking in the Richie Incgonito-Jonathan Martin bullying and racism mess, a story that gets bigger and more unbelievable by the day.
Now, there comes another story from South Florida that is raising some eyebrows.
A Miami-area radio host has been fired after issuing a bounty on a Florida State player.
Dan Sileo once played for the Hurricanes in the 80s and is now a radio host on a Miami radio station, or I should say, he was.
A day after the Canes lost 41-14 to Florida State, Sileo tweeted on Sunday morning “I will pay $1,000″ to any Hurricanes player that takes out Seminoles defensive tackle Devonta Freeman.
Needless to say, the school was “not pleased” and the station fired Sileo yesterday.
He deleted the original tweet, and said the bounty offer was just a joke.
No, Sileo, you’re the joke.
Whether your intention is to joke around or not even a caveman knows that putting bounties on people, cause we’re talking about a person’ health here, is just plain wrong.
