The clock is ticking towards the biggest game this season for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
The Ticats host the Montreal Alouettes this Sunday in the CFL’s East Division Semi-final.
B.C. and Saskatchewan meet in the West Semi.
Hamilton and Montreal have played 3 times this season, with the Ticats taking 2 of those 3 contests by a combined 5 points.
The loss was a blowout in Montreal in which the Ticats didn’t seem ready, or interested in competing in.
There are no excuses this Sunday, because like a high stakes poker game, both teams are going all in.
Speaking of all in, the key to this game will be how effective Hamilton is against Montreal’s blitz heavy defence.
If Henry Burris can find his receivers, and the offensive line can keep him upright, the Tiger-Cats will get the job done on Sunday.
Defensively, the key is not allowing Al’s QB Troy Smith to beat you with the big play.
It’s win or go home… it’s show up or be shut out from a chance at Grey Cup glory.
And I think Hamilton has the tools to continue their journey.
