A report in the Hamilton Spectator is shedding some light on why it’s been so difficult for police to identify the woman murdered in Stoney Creek three days ago.
Court documents presented at the arraignment of the man charged with first degree murder say the victim is a middle aged Asian woman.
Hamilton police have even taken her finger prints in the hopes she might be identified through criminal records.
If that does not work Detective Sergeant Paul Hamilton says they may have to appeal to the public for help.
An autopsy yesterday revealed she died of blunt force trauma.
35-year-old Dalibor Klaric is charged with the murder.
