The president and CEO of the Art Gallery of Hamilton is stepping down.
Louise Dompierre announced today that she will leave her role at the end of 2014.
Dompierre joined the AGH in 1998, after serving as associate director chief curator of Toronto’s Power Plant Art Gallery.
Since 1998, Dompierre has directed gallery renovations at the AGH, overseeing the opening of the Design Annex on James Street North.
In a news release, Dompierre said the gallery’s centennial in 2014. made it feel like the right time to find a successor to the job and for her to enter a new phase of her life.
