Hamilton Police are renewing the search for a man who has been evading capture since 1991.
Investigators note that Charles Peter Billone failed to attend court, 23 years ago, shortly after being released on a recognizance. His case relates to allegations of child sexual abuse.
Billone, who would now be 53, has been sought since that time on a Canada-wide arrest warrant and police believe he has assumed another identity in an effort to evade capture.
They also believe that he’s living elsewhere in the country, noting that he has family connections to Manitoba and New Brunswick.
Police have released a photo showing what Billone looked like in 1991.
