The Burlington Flood tally is now over 23-hundred homes.
Halton’s staff is working to help Burlington homewoners affected by the August Foruth storm.
Regional Staff has been conducting on site inspections to document the cause and damage.
There are compassionate grants to help those whose homes were damaged by sewage but they are capped at a thousand dollars.
The Basement Flooding Prevention Subsidy Program will continue to operate with the current 27-hundred dollar maximum.
The program assists Halton residents who have a history of basement floods caused by a backup or overflow of the sanitary sewer system.
It also helps residents who would like to correct improper storm water connections and install a backwater valve whether or not they have experienced flooding.
