A new study out of McMaster University suggests the quality of healthcare available is as important as your lifestyle when it comes to surviving heart disease.

The researchers says low-income countries where people have the lowest risk for cardiovascular disease, have the highest rate of strokes, heart failure, and death.

But high-income countries where people have greater risk of cardiovascular disease because of a poor diet and lack of exercise had a lower rate of death and severe heart problems.
