60 plus players suited up over the last three days, giving head coach Kent Austin and general manager Eric Tillman a glimpse of what they have in the pipe.
The coaching staff and player personnel people are now reviewing the practice film and debating which players they will keep and which ones they will send on their way.
Many of them will be back for main camp in a few weeks.
Now the Cats turn their attention to the CFL Draft, which goes May 10.
Hamilton, by the way, holds the fifth overall selection and has eight picks overall.
Speaking of drafts, the NFL held their 1st round last night.
And while I didn’t have my planned nap yesterday afternoon — I can go into why not, but I don’t want to bore the heck out of you — I stayed awake long enough to watch the Dolphins pick at #13.
And boy was I glad I did.
Because big Ole Miss left tackle Laremy Tunsil dropped from a top 5 pick to Miami after a video showed up on his Twitter page showing him wearing a gas mask and smoking through a bong.
After he was selected, it was revealed that Tunsil accepted money while playing at Ole Miss which is another big no-no.
So it sounds like the Fish picked a high character dude who will fit in nicely with their already fractured team.
