Another honour for former Tiger-Cat quarterback Danny McManus.
The three-time Grey Cup champion and the CFL’s 4th all-time leading passer has been selected for 2016 induction into the Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame.
Joining McManus in the Class of 2016 are Joe Namath, Don Maynard, Billy Kilmer, Daryle Lamonica and Dante Pastorini.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Friday, June 3, at the Silverton Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas.
His 53,255 passing yards rank 4th all-time in the Canadian Football League and he won Grey Cups in 1990, 1994 and 1999.
He was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player in 1999 as well as MVP of that year’s Grey Cup.
In 2011 McManus was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
Since December of 2013, McManus has been the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Assistant General Manager and Director of U.S. Scouting.
