A local restaurant owner will be hitting the road this weekend to help Albertans affected by the wildfires.
Jesse Chiavardi, owner of Ora Italian Kitchen will be driving a flatbed truck full of supplies to Fort McMurray.
While the response has been overwhelming, Chiavardi says there is still a need for a number of items, “undergarments, pet food, maternity clothing, medicine for colds and flu…”
Donations can be made to the Ora Italian Kitchen on Hess Street.
Chiavardi has also launched a go fund me page called “Hamilton to Fort McMurray”.
