Health Canada has issued a warning, telling people to stay away from a line of remedies from American, Brian Clement and the Hippocrates Health Institute.
It’s sold under the name of LifeGive.
Health Canada says the line is not authorized for sale and the items have not been reviewed by the department for safety, quality or effectiveness.
It also says it’s working with the Canada Border Services Agency to stop any shipments of the products to this country.
Brian Clement and his centre got local attention when two Six Nations’ girls were taken out of McMaster Children’s Hospital by their parents, abandoning chemotherapy treatment for Leukemia, and they were moved to the Florida facility.
One died and the other has resumed chemotherapy.
Clement appeared last weekend at a health and wellness fair on Six Nations.
