The lawyer representing Dellen Millard has completed his five-day cross examination of Mark Smich.
Nadir Sachak finished up on Friday morning suggesting that the two men, who are co-accused in the murder of Tim Bosma, got into a really bad argument over Bosma’s death while at Millard’s airplane hangar after the shooting.
Previously, during his cross-examination, Sachak had told the jury that he believes Smich killed Bosma who disappeared on May 6th of 2013 after taking two men for a test drive in his pickup truck.
In the days that followed, investigators found charred human remains, believed to belong to Bosma, in a livestock incinerator on Millard’s farm in Ayr.
Both of the accused have pleaded not guilty to first degree murder and Smich, throughout the week, has denied Sachak’s theory about how Bosma died.
The trial is now on hold for the long weekend, after which that the Crown will begin its cross-examination of Smich on Tuesday.
