Well, that was ugly.
The Raptors are back on their heels, and have their backs against the wall, after losing… and losing huge in Cleveland last night.
The final score wasn’t pretty, 116-78.
The 38 point margin of victory is tied for the 5th largest in the conference finals.
The win gives the Cavaliers a 3-2 lead in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Final heading into Game 6 tomorrow night in Toronto.
Cavs forward Kevin Love was outstanding, LeBron James was… well, LeBron like… and Kyrie Irving was on his game.
As for the Raptors, it was a bad outing all around, with DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry held to 27 points combined.
This, after the duo combined for 67 points in Game 4.
It was nice to see Jonas Valanciunas back on the floor for Toronto, but if the Lowry and DeRozan aren’t producing, the Raps aren’t going to win.
Cleveland is 7-and-0 at home in these playoffs, winning by an average of 20.9 points.
Tomorrow night, the Raps will fight to play at least one more game in Cleveland.
