As you were trying to beat the heat this weekend you may have wondered if it was a record breaker in Hamilton and Burlington.
Environment Canada says no.
The high point of the weekend was Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. when the temperature hit 30.9 degrees with a humidex at 38.
But that was well shy of the record.
That was set in 1987 at 31.6 degrees.
Monday is expected to be more comfortable with temperatures still in the mid to upper 20s, but with less humidity.
