For the second time in two days, the Hamilton Police Marine Unit was called into action after rough waters overturned several small sailboats.
Police say 13 people were out on six boats in the harbour as part of a sailing school when at least three overturned around 7 o’clock Monday evening.
The Hamilton Fire Department also responded but police say everyone was already rescued and accounted for by the time the marine unit arrived on the scene.
They were rescued by a small boat from the sailing school.
On Sunday, several catamarans overturned near Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park.
Four people ended up in the water, but nobody was hurt.
