It seems that the days of wine and roses continue in Burlington.
For the fourth straight year, the city has been named the best mid-sized city in Canada within MoneySense Magazine’s Best Places to Live rankings.
Burlington also moves up from #3 to #2 overall, trailing only Ottawa which tops the large city rankings.
Burlington was also named the third best place in Canada to raise children.
Oakville moved up the third place in the overall rankings, while Hamilton sits 62nd out of the 219 cities that are ranked by MoneySense.
Hamilton politicians, by the way, have officially approved changing the city’s vision statement to “the best place to raise a child and age successfully”.
It’s included within the 2016-2025 strategic plan.
