A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after being extricated from under a bus on the Eastbound 403 near Aberdeen.
The accident closed the lanes for several hours.
OPP spokesman Kerry Schmidt says it happened at about 8 o’clock Tuesday night when a couple of motorcycles were travelling together.
Schmidt says while the incident is still under investigation, there are indications the bikes may have been driven in an erratic manner.
He also says it appears the motorcyclist was run over rather than the bike sliding under the bus.
The bus had to be lifted in order to get the rider out from underneath and Schmidt says the man was talking before being taken to hospital.
The 18-year-old man is recovering from life-threatening injuries at the Hamilton General.
The investigation is continuing and the OPP want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
