There are two dozen projects on the city’s wish list as it applies for funding under the federal government’s community infrastructure program.
Municipalities are required to rank projects — and submit applications prior to a deadline of next Friday.
The local projects, basically a wide-ranging list of facility upgrades, have a total value of 14 million dollars and are eligible for about five million in federal funding.
Topping the list are improvements to Westmount Recreation Centre, the Central Library and Ancaster Old Town Hall.
The Canada 150 program is part of a federal plan to mark the country’s 150th anniversary.
