Global News is reporting that Dellen Millard will appeal his first-degree murder conviction in the death Ancaster’s Tim Bosma.
Mark Smich also plans to appeal his first-degree murder conviction.
Justice Andrew Goodman sentenced the two men to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.
The 32-year-old Bosma disappeared on May 6, 2013, after taking two men for a test drive of a truck he had listed for sale online.
His remains were found days later, burned beyond recognition.
The Crown alleged Millard and Smich planned for more than a year to steal a truck, kill its owner and incinerate the body.
