I had the privilege of spending the last week on vacation with my wife and two kids.
We did the standard things we all do geared towards our own families and their interests.
In the end, it’s a great chance to de-tune and spend quality time with the ones you love (until, of course, you get sick of them).
My wife and I are pretty plugged in, but tried hard to keep business at bay for 7 days.
It was difficult considering what was headline news this past week (and is weekly).
It seems there is enough ‘hate’ in the world to go around a few times, as everyone fights for their particular life to matter, in the me generation of the selfie.
Race, religion, place of origin….we have been fighting forever.
What I found enlightening this past week, was my ‘family’.
Perhaps if those family ‘lives mattered’ to us more, the rest would take care of itself.
Monday on The Scott Thompson Show!
In our need to become inclusive, are we becoming more divided?
