NHL star P.K. Subban has stirred the pot in Hamilton.
The former Bulldogs player took a shot at our city when he recently hosted a Just for Laughs comedy gala in Montreal earlier this week.
Subban said, “One thing I’ve tried to do in all the cities I’ve played in, is immerse myself in the local culture. Like, when I played in Belleville, I learned how to sail. When I moved to Montreal, I learned how to speak French. And when I played in Hamilton, I learned to breathe through my mouth.”
The Toronto native played 77 games for the then AHL Bulldogs in 2009 and 2010.
In June, he was traded to the Nashville Predators from the Montreal Canadiens.
