The City of Hamilton has launched an online survey to gather input on supervised injection sites.
Officials will gather information from the survey at hamilton.ca until October 26.
It will help staff develop next steps as the city considers conducting a study to better understand the need in the community.
The Public Health department already has a needle syringe program and provides safe injection supplies for intravenous drug users.
The city also provides free condoms to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections.
