Maybe it’s a sign of the high price of beef, but Norfolk OPP are on the hunt for a cattle rustler.
They are investigating after a 400 pound Holstein was taken from a farm in Townsend.
It’s believed the animal was taken sometime between October 7 and 17.
Anyone with information is asked to call Norfolk OPP or Crime Stoppers.
The penalty for rustling is much less severe now, but cattle theft carries a maximum jail term of ten years.
