The Hamilton Bulldogs out shot the home team, but couldn’t put on past the Ranger’s goaltender as they dropped a 2-0 decision in Kitchener Friday.
Halfway through the first, the Bulldogs held a 12-2 advantage in shots on goal, but weren’t able to get one past Dawson Carty.
Hamilton took a penalty, and Kitchener took advantage, taking a 1-0 lead at the end of the first.
The frustration for the Bulldogs continued into the second as Carty stopped a penalty shot from Mackenzie Entwistle, and robbing Michael Cramarossa on a power-play.
The Rangers scored a second power-play goal, giving them a 2-0 lead to take to the dressing room.
Hamilton out shot the home team 17-3 in the third, but once again, failed to put one past Carty.
With the loss the Bulldogs regular season record drops to 7-3 while their road record is now 4-3.
