The decade-old disappearance of a Hamilton woman of Jordanian-descent is now being investigated by the homicide unit.
Police say Nuseiba Hasan was last seen alive by her family in the fall of 2006 at the family’s home on Concession 8 West in Flamborough.
Her disappearance was not reported to police until early last year and investigators believe she may have been the victim of foul play.
Nuseiba was 26 at the time of her disappearance.
Police will be conducting a ground search at 1207 Concession 8 West over the next several days. Media Relations Officer Steve Welton notes that the property is no longer owned by the Hasan family.
