A 41 year old Hamilton man has been commended by the city for his recent lifesaving efforts.
Jonathan Davidson is credited with saving two neighbours from the flames that roared through their Grenfell Street home on October. 1st.
Deputy Fire Chief Randy Moss presented Davidson with a certificate of appreciation during Wednesday’s meeting of the General Issues Committee.
The Grenfell Street fire, which started in a room at the back of the home, did take the lives of three other residents.
It has since prompted a reminder from the Hamilton Fire Department about the importance of working smoke alarms.
