No charges are expected in the death of a 48-year old man from Sudbury.
Police say the man was struck by a tow truck at a Stoney Creek gas station Monday afternoon at around 4 p.m.
The Hamilton Spectator reports that an autopsy confirms the man died of blunt force trauma.
The 21 year old driver of the truck had refuelled at the Shell station at Queenston and Centennial, and started to pull out.
People in the area alerted him that there was a man down on the sidewalk.
Speed and alcohol have been ruled out.
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to call Det. Const. Walter Niblock at 905-546-4753.
