A few weeks ago Kathleen Wynne stood in front of her party faithful and proclaimed her green energy plan and the resulting soaring electricity rates a “mistake”.
Since then she has done nothing to fix the “mistake” let along tell us exactly what the “mistake” was she made.
So we’ll assume it’s her lack of a cost analysis and due diligence another words, a plan, that has taken us down this Liberal beaten path.
This week Energy Minister Glenn Thibeault brought another series of shell gamed ideas to the forefront, with the obvious intention of distracting us again, away from the lack of a solution.
Speaking to a business crowd, he issued a challenge to industry to rethink how Ontario’s electricity system functions and seek innovative ways to cut costs for people struggling with energy poverty.
Really? Why didn’t they ask for that kind of consultation before over spending on their green scheme by $37 billion?
Thibeault further lamented,
“If we can find a way to change a few things and save dollars, let’s do that,”
“I call it R and D. Not necessarily research and development, but rip-off and duplicate.”
Is it me, or does it appear the Liberals are speaking but nothing is coming out?
The only thing that is transparent here, is your electricity bill is going up again, and Wynne is still premier.
