Co-Host, Morning Show, 5am to 9am on AM900 CHML
Shiona wasn't always a "morning person."
She has been with CHML since 1997, starting out in the newsroom, reporting from City Hall and anchoring the weekend morning news. One day, there was a happy accident. She bumped into Bob Bratina in the halls. They started joking around and their chemistry was noticed by the Powers-That-Be. A partnership was born.
Shiona started working on the air with Bob in the afternoons, but then the pair was moved to host Hometown Mornings, where they have been interviewing celebrities, local movers and shakers and entertaining the audience for years.
Shiona may miss her late nights but Hamiltonians don't miss much that went on while they were sleeping, thanks to her quick wit and endless curiosity.
